A Level Results 2023

South Nottinghamshire Academy (part of the Redhill Academy Trust) is pleased to celebrate the amazing achievements of our sixth form students. Overall, we are pleased to report outstanding results in A’ levels and other examination qualifications this summer.

Anna Cox (Head of Sixth Form) commented, ‘Students and staff have worked extremely hard to secure some of the Academy’s most outstanding results - it is so pleasing to see students gain their places at prestigious universities or progress to their destination of choice in employment or training’.

Joe W (pictured below) gained A*AA and will be studying English Literature at the University of Manchester.

Emma G (pictured below) gained A*AA and will be studying Chemical Engineering at Loughborough University.

Ben W (pictured below left) gained AAC and will be studying Mechanical Engineering at Newcastle University.

Maddy S (pictured below right) gained A*AB and will be studying English Language & Linguistics at University of Leeds.

Thomas Q (pictured below right) gained AAB and will be studying Urban Studies and Planning at the University of Sheffield.

Katie B (pictured below left) gained A*AB and will be studying Biomedical Science at Newcastle University.

Dan Philpotts (Headteacher) commented, ‘We are immensely proud of our sixth form students, not least because they had no prior experience from their GCSEs (as they received Teacher Assessed Grades in 2021). Their resilience and commitment have shone through as they’ve encountered pandemic closures and working from home, extra bank holidays and teacher strikes. Our teachers have worked tirelessly to ensure that students progress onto further education and employment with universities as far reaching as Newcastle to Plymouth. Well done to everyone – your success is well deserved’
