Redhill Trust Handball Cup at the University of Nottingham. We had 4 teams playing - U13 girls, U13 boys, U15 girls and U15 boys. All 10 trust schools were present, meaning there were group fixtures in the morning with the top 2 teams from each group progressing through into the play-offs in the afternoon.
Students had been working hard to prepare for the Handball tournament, both within their PE lessons and committing to co-curricular sessions after school with a GB Handball coach. Their efforts were rewarded with some excellent performances, including the U13 girls and U15 boys making it into the finals!
The U13 girls narrowly missed out on the title in the final, losing 1-0 to Tupton. A fantastic effort from the girls! The U15 boys showcased their dominance, beating Hall Park 5-0! An absolutely amazing achievement and something they are incredibly proud of.
A massive shout-out to Dilwyn who was awarded the tournament's MVP.
